Rough Day

1:30 p.m. She is currently experiencing the same symptoms she did the other night when everything got so bad. Her blood pressure just plummeted and they are trying to get her back up. She is not doing good at all. Please pray!

5:00 p.m.  We are still here but she hasn't gotten any more stable. They are giving her medicine to help her blood pressure but when it wears off it continues to drop again.
7:30 p.m. Darby Kate is still hanging on by a thread. She has not improved the last four hours. Please continue to pray.
10:30 p.m. She opened her eyes tonight after fighting all day to let us know that she was still fighting. Her sats and lactate are still terrible but she is pressing the fight. You go girl!!

Dr. Alten told Britt he had an early Mother's Day gift. He let her hold Darby Kate. She was able to rock her for about an hour today. She has been stable but has worse swelling today. She has been given medication just in case it's infection. Dr. Alten said it could be inflammation and is hoping it's not an infection. Please pray it's not. This would not be good where Darby Kate is at this point.
